Summer is here and much has changed during the past month.  My dad, age 87, passed away the last day of May.  He was born in a boxcar, served during WWII and was an avid ham-radio operator.  He will be missed.

As for me, I've been busy picking blueberries.  I'm really looking forward to next week when the heat index reaches 110.  If you could see my face, you would know that I'm not serious.

In the upcoming weeks I will post book reviews and show reviews.  I will also have two special guest bloggers: Doctor Doze and Doctor Heal.

Doctor Doze is know as the Anti-Dr. Oz.  He is best recognized for his hit books You , Not on a Diet, and How to feel your age.  I'm sure he will have unique insights to share.

Doctor Heal is the Anti-Dr. Phil.  His interesting take on life's problems will leave you wanting more or less.  We will just have to wait and see.
